Coffee Roasting

Joshua’s Roasting Company

The story of Joshua’s Roasting Company began in 1970 when Bezabih “Buzz” Felleke arrived in the United States. Buzz grew up in Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. There coffee is more than a drink. Over coffee, people form close relationships, strengthen friendships, and munch Kolo—tiny fried snacks.

Buzz had a passion to bring the Ethiopian coffee heritage to America. So in 2004, Buzz opened Rebekah’s Espresso (named after his daughter) in Lemoore, California.

In 2009, Buzz purchased a roaster to roast his own beans under his perfectionist eye. Thus Joshua’s Roasting Company was born (named after his son) with four delicious blends:

Felleke Blend: Features Ethiopian Yrgacheffe coffee—an Arabica coffee, low in acidity, yet rich in flavor with just a hint of sweetness. It’s blended with the slightly stronger Harrar coffee from the province where Buzz’s father was governor in the 1960’s.

Blue Nile: Flavorful blend of Yrgacheffe, Brazilian, and Sumatra coffee beans, medium roasted for espresso.

Decaf Felleke Blend: Light roast, 100% caffeine-free.

French Roast: Vanilla, dark, bold, and smoky.

As you brew our coffee, it is the family’s prayer that God’s blessings will fill your lives as the coffee aroma fills your room. Order online here.
